Matrix Switch/Control Systems Software Downloads

Below are the available software downloads from Honeywell Video Systems. You will need the Winzip Software to view most of these downloads.

NetPTZ is available free of charge for administration functions. The software allows a 15 day free trial of the full software program.

You must first download the five separate zip files, DISK 1 - DISK 5, then expand each into a temporary directory on your PC, or onto 5 1.44Mb floppy disks. From your temporary directory; run setup.exe and follow the instructions on the screen. You may have to reboot your PC if prompted. The program requires Microsoft Data Access Components 2.1. The installation program will check your PC for the presence of this software. If it is not currently installed, you will be prompted to download and run MDAC_TYP.exe. Also if Setmax for Windows displays error messages regarding database operations, download and run MDAC_TYP.exe to ensure all database components are correctly installed. If your PC has early Windows 95 (version A) installed, you will need to download and run DCOM98.exe, prior to installing Setmax for Windows.

DOS Real Mode is used mostly for smaller floppy-based systems. This zipped folder contains MAX-1000 system files with the exception of the TITLE.MAX file. These files can be used to re-install SETMAX for DOS. This is not an MXAT200 system restore disk. Please call Honeywell Technical Support to obtain an MXAT200 restore disk. Minimum processor specification of 80486DX2 66MHz is recommended for these updates.

Note: It cannot be used to update a version 4 MAX-1000® system. This is a millennium compliant upgrade of our early version THREE (3) MAX-1000® CCTV Management System. The test program AT100Y2K must be used first to verify the System Control Computer hardware and BIOS compatibility for millennium upgrade. You must download the ZIP file. This ZIP file contains all the files required to update an existing V3.xx MAX-1000® SYSTEM DISK.

Various software utilities used to assist in system commissioning are available on the Tools Disk. These tools are intended for systems running DOS and will not work on systems running Win9x. For help information on the various programs type the executable name followed by /? at the command prompt eg: c:\>Patch232 /?
