WHAT:
Honeywell and Novell will demonstrate an end-to-end identity assurance solution that manages and authenticates user credentials. Honeywell and Novell teamed with ImageWare Systems, Inc. and ActivIdentity to strengthen its government offering by introducing an integrated physical and logical access control system that complies with HSPD-12. The system integrates all the components of FIPS 201, including contactless
readers, physical access control panels, contact chip readers and card
printers/encoders.
Additionally, Honeywell will present details about a first-of-its-kind,
integrated perimeter and intrusion detection system deployed for the United
States’ fourth-largest airport system. The system combines ground-based
radar and video analytics, and presents information within a single
graphical interface. The presentation – “The Houston Airport System: A
Case Study in Security Technology Development” – will examine IP
technology and physical security challenges facing the Houston Airport
System and its sole security integrator, Honeywell.
DETAILS:
Identity Assurance Solution demos for complying with HPSD-12 and FIPS
201 will take place at the Honeywell booths (#511 and #513).
