LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 2, 2008 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today released its Video Systems 2008 Product Catalog at ISC West. The catalog includes Honeywell’s newest video surveillance innovations and provides dealers with one-stop access to information on the company’s full line of video systems and security products.

The Honeywell Video Systems 2008 Product Catalog features over 900 products ranging from cameras to digital video recorders to matrix systems and intelligent video and data analytics. Some of the latest surveillance and security technologies include:

• Honeywell Video Management System (HVMS), which controls multiple sources of video subsystems in a facility, enabling operators to easily collect, manage and present video with maximum efficiency. HVMS uses an open architecture that integrates with existing video infrastructures and a vast array of third-party components.
• EQUIP™ Series, a family of IP products such as cameras, encoders and other network based surveillance devices. Honeywell’s EQUIP Series of IP cameras are available in PTZ, mini-dome and box styles that provide 4CIF MPEG-4 images at 30 frames per second.
• Rapid Eye™ Multi-Media DSP v8 and Fusion III v3.5 digital video recorders, which now offer integration with intelligent video analytics. The Active Alert® suite of video analytics automatically detects, analyzes and classifies the behavior of people and vehicles in a scene. By making it possible to concentrate on meaningful activity and reducing false alarms, video analytics can significantly improve the accuracy and effectiveness of a surveillance system.
• ACUIX™ PTZ dome, which features five housing configurations and four integrated high-resolution, auto-focus cameras for virtually any application. Honeywell’s proprietary IntelliBus™ technology allows users to remotely upload firmware to all domes without losing the use of the camera and permits secure storage of all camera settings such as labels, presets, tours, and privacy zones.
